  • Funny. I have an 1972-75 Reader's digest RDA-127 Shortwave radio with a 4" (101mm) (Foster) full range driver that's only 8 Ohms 2 watts, but dives slightly lower than the Sony. However it's not super efficient (like those two) and tends to distort at high volumes.

  • JBL is a little bit edgy for my tastes. The Sony is more rounded though could do with better treble dispersion.
