½ lb (230g) pork belly
½ cup (60g) dried shrimps
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 packed teaspoon brown sugar
¼ tsp paprika
Black pepper
1 shallot, peeled, sliced
2 garlic cloves, peeled, sliced
½ tbsp oil
green onion for garnish (optional)
Variety or raw and steamed vegetables to serve

1 củ hành ta, lột vỏ, thái mỏng
2 củ tỏi, lột vỏ, thái mỏng
½ tbsp muỗng canh dầu
hành lá trang trí

This brings back memories. My family was so poor when we emigrated from Vietnam. We couldn't afford proteins so it was just basically boiled down fish sauce and black pepper to eat with a little bit of rice.
Thanks for sharing, Van. I am not familiar with that dip, but am somewhat familiar with the combination of pork and shrimp. I'm waiting for a really nice sale so I can get me the Instant Pot as well. I've never used a pressure cooker but think I can handle the built in one that comes with the Instant Pot. You look beautiful as always. For some reason, when I first watched your videos, I thought you were a middle aged lady. But you are way younger than that! LOL

Van, could you transfer to a frying pan and further reduce? Or is it supposed to be watery? Sauce looks like it would be delicious on rice!
